Spring outfit idea: Searching for Coffee in my Hometown

February 25, 2017

People who are around me a lot know that I am a big coffee lover and that every time I have the opportunity I drink a bit more. Coffee gives me energy, motivates me and, above all, makes me feel happy! Since the weather outside was so nice these days, I went out for a short walk in search of coffee.

Lately, my new passions have been ruffles, puffy sleeves and the colour red, so today I opted for a top which included all of these. This colour is so vibrant that it puts me in a good mood even before drinking coffee. Imagine how I feel AFTER I have a coffee... And on such a sunny day! I am so happy I could jump and dance all over the place!

Alex always laughs at my ruffle blouses, saying that I look from Shakespeare's famous play Hamlet; he even nicknamed all the blouses from my collection of puffy clothes Hamlet's clothes. He can call them however he wants, I love all of them!

For the lower half I chose a plain denim skirt which cost only 5 euros from my favourite store, Primark (I will soon write a full article from the "How to travel affordably" series which focuses on shopping in other countries, in which I will definitely mention Primark! But that is a different story...). I combined the skirt with nude net tights and then I finished the outfit with a pair of thick-soled black shoes.

I usually do not wear accessories because, although I like them and I would like to wear some, most of the time I forget to apply them. Luckily for me, I cannot go out without my keys, wallet and phone, which forces me to take a bag wherever I go. As such, in order to find the perfect coffee, I grabbed a silver backpack and I left.
